Tip: You can press the Home key to adjust the zoom of your Timeline

editor after setting the Start and End frames.

Our animation subject starts on the left side of our 3D Viewport and

move to the right. The animation uses location keyframes only. Select

the object you want to animate and make sure frame 1 is your current

frame (Figure 7.9).

Press the I key and choose a location keyframe. You can also use the

Sidebar or the Object tab in the Properties Editor to add keyframes.

There you will right-click above the Location field and choose Insert

Keyframes.

The Timeline Editor now displays a diamond-shaped icon for the

selected object in frame 1 (Figure 7.10). Notice that the object name and

active Collection will also turn to yellow, indicating a keyframe. Those

names appear at the top left your 3D Viewport.
